In early November, on Nov. 3, the IUID registry is scheduled to be migrated to the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) e-Business Suite.
Between now and Nov. 3, many things are in lock down or transition, including the communication between eQuip! and the IUID registry.
eQuip! is a Government Property Management system. Among its many features is the feature to manage receiving and transferring of Government Furnished Property (GFP). Some GFP come with UII (Item Unique Identifier), some GFP require new UII. eQuip! can communicate with the IUID registry to retrieve information about the GFP items with the existing UII, and register the new GFP item with a new UII with the IUID registry.
This process, performed manually, will take government contractors many labor hours. The eQuip! Government Property Management system has automated the process.
During the next few weeks, we are monitoring closely the migration of the IUID Registry to the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
E-ISG Asset Intelligence provides Commercial Off the Shelf solution to government contractors to manage Government Property, including GFP and CAP. If you would like to find more about the eQuip! solution, you call 1-866-845-2416, ext. 2 to speak with one of our asset management experts.
